Defense Grid is mine now. I loved it on Steam,so playing through again only makes sense, but this time on a bigger screen.

Yeah. Defense Grid has got to be one of the best games of it's type out there. If you've got a few points to spare and want more, Scribble Defense and Towers both came out recently and aren't bad either.
I played the original Darwinia on PC, and that was pretty cool. No idea how well it plays on the XBox though.
