We didn’t see it at E3, GamesCom, or Comic-Con, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t in existence. Today, Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots is currently in development and will arrive in 2013!

“Terrorism has evolved, and so has Rainbow 6. In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, all the team play, tactics, and realism that fans of the series love have been coupled with an exciting new narrative direction,” said David Sears, creative director at Ubisoft. “This adds an unprecedented level of humanity that will make Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots an extremely tense and immersive experience.”

In Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots, Team Rainbow faces a new and very real threat called the “True Patriots,” a highly-trained, well-organized revolutionary group that claim the American government is irrevocably corrupted by greedy politicians and corporate special interests. The True Patriots will do whatever it takes to reclaim their country. Playing as Team Rainbow, players will face critical scenarios that will require them to make tough ethical decisions in order to stop this new breed of terrorists.

In addition to the immersive single-player storyline, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow 6 Patriots will introduce a huge variety of new innovative co-op and multi-player experiences. Players will be rewarded for working as a team and mastering the game’s new features that enhance communication and tactical execution between teammates. Success will come from a mix of split-second decision making and working to coordinate attacks against the enemy.

We mentioned the new DLC for A World of Keflings last week, but now we’ve gotten an update from NinjaBee Games with a price and a release date.

“It Came From Outer Space” invades the Xbox Marketplace on Wednesday, October 26 and will be available at 320 . The new add-on, which includes a new alien-themed kingdom, will increase the game’s total content by more than 30% and add two to four extra hours of gameplay.

The X-Men are headed to Pinball FX2

Earlier today it was officially announced that the X-Men are headed to Pinball FX2 soon. This news followed the reveal trailer for the Ghost Rider table earlier this week, and there are two more tables yet to be announced.

The X-Men table embodies the classic conflict between Professor Charles Xavier’s band of Super Hero mutants against Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants. Players must deploy the powers of Iceman, Wolverine, Jean Grey, Colossus, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Psylocke and Storm as they take on such classic villains as Mystique, Juggernaut and the Blob, as well as mutant-hunting Sentinels.

The table features missions inspired by actual comic events, such as Magneto’s destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge (NEW X-MEN #147) and a pinball version of the Dark Phoenix Saga that uses actual dialogue from classic issues of THE UNCANNY X-MEN (#135 and #136). There is even a confrontation with the Juggernaut in which Cyclops, Iceman, Colossus and Psylocke exemplify good teamwork as they attempt to stop the unstoppable.

While we don’t know too much about the game, it’s been confirmed that the Dinobots will be making an appearance this time around. With the ongoing activities at NYCC this week, High Moon Studios has given us this new teaser to show off the upcoming title.

Their last title, Dark of the Moon, may not have been nearly as successful as its predecessor, War for Cybertron, but we hope things turn around with this new title. It’s not based off a movie in any way so creativity is in the hands of the developer and we hope they redeem themselves with another big hit!

Transformers Fall of Cybertron is a newer game with the style and direction of the Transformers from Michael Bay director of the newer Transformer films.
