Time for a look at the latest releases on Indie Games for the 360. All releases are played for the eight minutes allowed in trials and impressions are made from that.
Extreme RPS Online is a Rock, Paper, Scissors game with very nice presentation and graphics. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the game and features an Arcade and Story mode, Local and Online multiplayer with a good choice of characters. At 200
I feel it is a bit expensive for what the game actually is if you ignore all the presentation, 80
would be ideal and would get a thumbs up from me. Give the trial a go, well worth checking out!
Mayan Countdown is a countdown to to December 21st 2012 which the Mayans predict will be the end of civilization as we know it. It also comes with a mini game to play while you are counting down which will unlock four secret messages. Mayan Countdown costs 80
.
Oi Oi Savaloy it is Reef Rave! Reef Rave is a rave music visualiser which unfortunately is not very good. The visualisations are boring and not much you can do with it. 80
to get into my own bedroom? Ha, what have you done, turned it into a roller disco? Unfortunately not… and a free shout out in the next Indie Games update to the first to comment where the quote comes from and what rave song it was used in
Spectra Musical Massage is yet another massage application. I wish I had the points to buy them all and do a Battle Of The Massagers article. Spectra Musical Massage has some music and visualisations which are better than Reef Rave. Spectra Music Massage costs 240
.
The Oracle is a Magic 8 Ball application. Give it a shake, ask a question and hit B then The Oracle will give you an answer. So I gave it a try with the question “Is this worth 80
?’, gave it a shake and hit B, the reply was ‘Not super likely’. Maybe it does work then.
