Agent MOO: Maximum Overdeath is a 2D deathmatch game where it is a all out free for all fight. The graphics are a bit basic and the pistol has the most annoying sound effect ever. There is a good range of weapons including RPG’s and a portal style gun, you can even get in a vehicle and run people over. You can play this online with up to 16 people. It costs 240 :MSPoints: which is not too bad if you get a group of friends on to play it, you can download the trial here.

We have a contender for the worst Indie Game 2009 – Beer Screensaver. It displays a pint of beer and that is it, nothing else to say. It costs 80 :MSPoints: and the trial can be downloaded here.

Chaos is a single and multiplayer game where you must slow down the antimatter particles with your force field until their trails disappear. Unless I am being stupid I couldn’t actually get them to slow down, they just kept bouncing around the screen. You may have better luck with the game, it doesnt look too bad otherwise. Chaos costs 80 :MSPoints: and can be downloaded here.

Destruction Tank is a 3D single and multiplayer deathmatch game in which you fight against other tanks. The enemy AI is shockingly bad and will often get stuck in scenery or just stand still. It costs 240 :MSPoints: and can be downloaded here.

Gum Drop Celestial Frontier is not actually a new game, but the developers reminded me about their game as it came out just before I opened this site a couple of weeks ago. This is a space shooter where you do not actually shoot the enemies, instead you must collect debris and use physics to smash the enemy by spinning around. It is a good twist on the genre and quite fun to play, well worth checking out! It costs 200 :MSPoints: and the trial can be downloaded here. Also, the developers were kind enough to donate a few tokens for the full game which we will be giving away later this week in our first competition.

Music Roll is a music sequencer application. I found it a bit confusing at first but pressing LB and RB at the same time brings up a help screen. This is probably not for everyone but people interested in making tracker style music should be interested. It costs 80 :MSPoints: and the trial can be found here.

Pebble Dash is a Boulderdash clone where you must dig the earth while avoiding boulders and enemies and collecting diamonds. I enjoyed playing the game and at 240 :MSPoints: should be a good purchase. Well worth checking out which you can do so here.

Ultra-Powered Massage is yet another massage application. This one comes with two additional mini games to hide the fact the massage is useless. It costs 80 :MSPoints: and the trial can be found here.

Zombie Mania is a Pac Man style game in which you must navigate the maze collecting items and avoiding zombies. Power Pills are replaced by an Axe and can be used to chop the zombies. The game is a bit slow paced and the maze should be a bit smaller to allow a bit more flow to the game. It costs 400 :MSPoints: which is too expensive, the trial can be downloaded here.

A bumper round up of releases in the past 24 hours. My recommendations for games to check out are Gum Drop Celestial Frontier and Pebble Dash.
