This weeks code competition is two codes for the puzzle game Sidehill Gouger which I reviewed late last week here. Read on for how to enter:

Lost & Found, eh?
Most recently, I lost my local bus pass when I was downtown, and noticed about 15 minutes later as I was about to get on a bus. Simultaneously I received a phone call, and a guy had found my pass and used my contact info on it to let me know. 10 minutes later, I had the pass back, and thanked the guy, as he saved me a replacement cost of $87.25! He refused to accept any reward either. There are still some great people out there.
This is going to be a bit of a ramble…
Many, many, many years ago when I was in high school, my friends & I purchased ticket to see Van Halen at the Spectrum in Philly. The night of the show came around & I could not find my ticket.
I literally ripped my room apart, but could not find it. Well, the show was sold out & I didn’t have any money anyway to replace the ticket, so all of my friends went off to the concert & I stayed home putting my room back together.
Flash foward almost two years, I pick up a book & the ticket slips out & falls to the floor…
What a safe place to keep the ticket…
I’m such a scatterbrain lately… a few weeks ago my husband was looking everywhere for his keys, and he eventually shouted up the stairs to me asking if I knew where they were – I did. “They’re in the bread-bin!” I shouted…
For some reason (and I remember doing it), I’d picked them up and as I was getting some bread out to make toast, just shoved them in the bread-bin… he’d been looking for them for the best part of an hour, hehehe!
Once, someone asked me if I had documentation on some aspect of Tex or LaTex. I went to a 2-foot high stack of paper on my shelf, just took half the pile off the top, and what he wanted was right on top of the remaining pile.
I perpetually lose the keys to my mailbox, and I have yet to find them all. Thankfully, my wife has the original. I think I’ve lost like seven (?) copies now!
I have a video camera that’s kept in a lockable case. During a house-move a couple of years ago I lost the keys, and typically the case was locked. A few weeks ago the keys randomly turned up at the bottom of a box of junk. I was pretty happy to finally have access to my camera again – the only problem is it’s now a few years on and I can’t help but think my once brilliant (and expensive) camera now looks dated and cheap!
