Quite a few releases since Mondays Indie Games round up so you can have this one a day early. Also, controversially I am putting the continue reading… link after the first batch of images instead of just before the trailers near the end. Autumn is a puzzle game where you must rotate leaves so they all face downwards. I found the game to be quite confusing and after some trial and error I managed to complete the first level with just four leaves, the second level had like 20 or so and I gave up. If you can work the game out it could be fun, visuals are not too bad and the music is nice to chill out to. Autumn costs 80 :MSPoints: and more information can be found here.
Ava the Firefly is a relaxing game where you take control of a Firefly and must rescue and guide other fireflys to the light. Enemies such as Bats are there to hinder your rescue attempts and will decrease your health if collided with. Visuals and music work well together and there are occasional voice overs, I liked the one where you die. Globoid is a simple yet quite addictive game where you must dodge the falling spheres that follow the same sequence every time. While the trial impression was limited to the first 10 levels I had a lot of fun playing this game as it has that one more go factor which I love in games. Last Line Of Defence is a kind of retro inspired defender game where you must defend the city from alien spacecraft by shooting them down with you cannon. The issue I had was it is often possible to keep the turret aimed in a part of the screen and just keep your finger on the fire button and it will destroy either all the craft or their bombs before they destroy the city. Mega Monster Mania is an arcade adventure game with some RPG elements. You explore a dungeon fighting enemies along the way and collect weapon and armour upgrades which can be equipped or sold at the end of the level. This is a really fun game but I did find the fighting to be a little tricky but I think this is something that can be dealt with by playing the game a little more past the trial. Santa Bomber puts you in control of Santa’s sleigh and you must drop coloured Christmas presents on to the respective coloured houses. Obstacles such as snowball throwing kids and planes are added in to mix things up. It is not a bad game but released too late now as we are in March. Soulcaster is a top down view action adventure game where you play as a Soulcaster who can summon three warriors to fight in his place. The game has a strategic element in places as the three warriors have different abilities; Sword, Bow and Arrow and Bombs so you must carefully summon them to provide the best attack and defense for your character as you explore the dungeons. Zatacka 360 is a two to four player Tron style game. I did not have a second player so I got to try the game controlling two players which did not work out too well so I will reserve judgement on this game.
