Project Natal, the full motion control system for the Xbox 360 has been the buzz of the industry for some time now. EDGE Online has reported possible pricing for Microsoft’s dual camera system.
According to a trusted source of EDGE, the standalone version of Natal will be $149 USD, while purchasing it bundled with an Xbox LIVE Arcade console will cost $299 USD. Pricing outside of the USA will differ based on exchange rates. Both the release date and final product title are still unknown, but speculation amongst the Internet suggests the release date will be on or near October 26, and the final product may be Microsoft Wave.
With Playstation Move releasing for less than $100 USD including a game later this year, we have to wonder if Microsoft is making a smart move. Regardless, we are sure that Microsoft will push out millions of units in the first year, but that number could be much higher with a $50 price cut.
