A new Summer of Football event will start later today and run until July 11th to celebrate the World Cup in South Africa.
From June 11th to 13th Xbox Live Silver members will be able to enjoy a weekend of Xbox Live Gold access including online multiplayer, Facebook, Twitter and Last.fm.
A free 1GOAL avatar T-Shirt will be available for everyone to download as well as a rather nice looking Premium Theme for 240 :MSPoints: (see video below). In addition to this, a free Avatar penalty shoot out dashboard based game will be available to play as well as a tournament predictor application and daily news updates.
There will also be competitions including a chance to win a home theatre system and if you are in UK a chance to win a 3D TV.
