Boxart

Demon’s Souls, the predecessor of the recently released title, Dark Souls, celebrates its two year anniversary today. With that, Atlus has set Boletaria to Pure White tendency from now until October 17. Always wanted in that area just left of the beginning, and more? Go now!

ATLUS today joined fans across North America in celebrating the second anniversary of the award-winning hardcore multiplayer action RPG Demon’s Souls™ for PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system.  Two years later, the game, which recently had support for its groundbreaking online functionality extended into 2012, remains one of the most influential, innovative interactive entertainment releases of all time.

Developed by FromSoftware, Demon’s Souls took the world by surprise and it thrust players into a massive scaled world full of various monstrous demons, and offered a new level of challenge not found in many other games. You could tranverse the worlds in any order you wanted, and defeat towering bosses who could crush you with one finger – seriously, it’s one of the best games I have ever played. Its successor, Dark Souls, just released this week on Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3, and it’s twice and harder, and much more refined from top to bottom so you can be sure to enjoy a lengthy and fun adventure.

Our full review of Dark Souls will arrive next week, but in the meantime you should check out the pure white tendency in Demon’s Souls and collect some goodies you likely missed.
