The London Games Festival runs from September 27th to October 28th and the first events to celebrate the month have been announced.
UK’s largest gaming show Eurogamer Expo returns and starts off the festival on September 27th to 29th at Earl’s Court.It will be the public’s first look at many upcoming releases, last years show was great and well worth visiting if you can! Half of the Gamergeddon staff and our Quit Or Die clan members will be there to play all the latest games and probably get very drunk afterwards 🙂 More details at eurogamer.net/expo/
A Gala event hosted by Ukie will close the first day of the event, also on September 27th. As part of the event, GamesAid, the industry charity, will hand out cheques to the its chosen charities.
Two awards shows; The Games Media Awards and Future Publishing’s Golden Joystick Awards take place on October 18th and 26th respectively.
The MCM London Comic Con wraps up the festival, taking place October 26th and 28th. Everything from comics, movies, and games can be found there. Somehow I manage to have other plans during this event but I will try and make it this time, especially as I live 5 minutes away from Excel! You can find more details at londoncomiccon.net
