Crest, currently on Steam Early Access, received a large development update.
Eat Create Sleep are excited to reveal a brand new trailer for Crest, along with a major update to the game. The theme of the trailer is inspired by Frank Herbert’s theory, “The Golden Path” from the Dune universe. The trailer encapsulates the challenges the player will face acting as a god, along with the forces they will need to master in order to keep their followers thriving.
The update includes the following additions:
- New animals like lions, antelope, hyenas and ostriches. Eat Create Sleep have spent time with the animal AI to ensure that antelope work with a herd mentality, and that lions preoccupy themselves with lazing about, breeding, and occasionally eating a follower or two.
- More work has gone into the systems within the world, including improved water and vegetation, so that players can see the world affected with more interesting details.
- Extra biomes, jungles and savannahs, have been implemented to diversify the previous desert-only landscape.
