Salt and Sanctuary is a 2D action-platformer with role-playing elements that feels like the lovechild from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Dark Souls. Its art style is similar to the dark nature that was in Ska Studios’ other big hit, The Dishwasher, which seems even more fitting for a game that’s trying to imitate a Souls title. You can traverse through the worlds multiple pathways, find hidden secrets, and slay various enemies and bosses to unlock new areas and new challenges.
