Cubism Review

Cubism is a 3D Jigsaw Puzzle type game where the aim of the game is to create a Cube out of 6 pieces that are different shapes and colours. Occasionally they are textured or when it increases in difficulty there are more than one of the same colour. The basic premise is one piece goes on one side of the “core cube” and have to be rotated in a specific manner to fit together without intersecting. (more…)

Avatar Kung-fu! Review

Once again I find myself reviewing a game I have been unable to complete, not because I thought the game was terrible and threw my controller down in disgust but because of the inherent design flaws which stopped me being able to progress past the second stage. The game in question today is Avatar Kung Fu by UFOGames, which is a side scrolling beat em up, think of it a little like Streets of Rage but with Avatars. (more…)

Isagoras Review

Isagoras is a "Vertical" shoot 'em up, the reason I quote the Vertical part as the game actually has gameplay that changes angles so its like the whole screen has rotated to the left or right which is something that is rather refreshing to see. The plot is the human race has colonized the solar system but is still incapable of intergalactic travel, the government is having problems with a separatist movement and in the midst of this the earth is attacked by an unknown alien attacker.
