Trials HD out now

The penultimate game in the Summer of Arcade 2009 promotion on XBLA is released today. Trials HD is a physics-based motorcycle game and comes with over 50 levels to compete in, fifteen skill based mini games and a level editor to create and share your levels with friends. I purchased Trials HD after all of five minutes of playing the demo, it is a really fun game and has just the right balance to make you want to win that Gold medal before playing the next level. I will be writing a review of the game sometime soon, no exact…

Indie Game releases 4th August

Time for a look at the latest releases on Indie Games for the 360. All releases are played for the eight minutes allowed in trials and impressions are made from that. Extreme RPS Online is a Rock, Paper, Scissors game with very nice presentation and graphics. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into the game and features an Arcade and Story mode, Local and Online multiplayer with a good choice of characters. At 200 :MSPoints: I feel it is a bit expensive for what the game actually is if you ignore all the presentation, 80 :MSPoints: would be ideal…

Playing This Week

I have not had a great deal of time the past week to play any games, I spent most of it performing software upgrades on my other site and also getting things ready for the launch of this site. I did however manage to find a bit of time to play the following: I spent an hour or two on Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, mostly designing some new mental vehicles to play around in. I ran out of time playing this as I was waiting on a local server test upgrade to finish. I really need to get back…
